I've knowed this band from some of my trusted mogs and now i really into them. It cant be denied that Electric President sounds like The Postal Service. But what originally stands out about Electric President is the pure construction of the duo’s songs. Electric President is an album that I can certainaly relate to on a lyric. In the end of this song, Insomnia, there is a sense of optimisim that shines out: I hope you’re learning to listen/And I hope you’re learning to stay/And I hope you find what you’re missing/And I hope that you’re making you’re way/I’m a headcase if I don’t keep moving/And my head hurts if I don’t sit still/It’s an itch that I’ll never stop scratching/ It’s a hole that I’ll never quite fill.

from what i've heard of them, i actually was never reminded of the postal service, but maybe thats just me. i think there is less of a fully electronic aspect to their songs and they're a lot 'quirkier' if that makes sense. i enjoy their unique sound for sure!

I think, "Quirkier sounds" become trademark of indie/electronic pop bands. "Good Morning, Hypercrite" is SUPER. anyway, it is very hard to find their stuffs I gess Electric President songs may not be as catchy.
