MOG MOG

MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist: Glen Hansard/Marketa Irglova
Track: Falling Slowly

Last night i spent time watching re-run 2008 Oscar Award. When Once got award winner of Best Original Song, Falling Slowly, I was totally thrill.

Even there are loads of Blogs out there posting, talking, criticizing about Once whatever they said i still want to post Oscar clips of Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova's fantastic performance on Mog. But I could not even to post anything. Mog just wastes my time over and over again. You can meet trust Moggers here who really share music, art and whatever i wanna know about world of music. And that is why i don’t leaving mog. But this site's system just .... (word fails to explain what i feel!) Anyway i dont want to take a massive critical crap on this website or to waste of anyone's time.

What i want to say here is Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova just made a miracle. Pureness and Classic. Finally Oscar did something right. If you haven't listened to their songs, check out Hansard and Irglova's new project, Swell Season, http://www.myspace.com/theswellseason.

I must admit that I didn't see the Oscars, and this movie had completely escaped my attention until tonight, when my wife sat me down to watch it. What an amazing and beautiful film. I am so grateful that it was made and so happy it got honored by the Oscars and the Grammys. It's so satisfying when those awards shows get it right.
