I just finished watching this horribly depressing drama, Imaginary Heroes (2004) and realized that the only ones who could be considered abnormal are those who are least aware that life is nothing more than tragic.

".....realized that the only ones who could be considered abnormal are those who are least aware that life is nothing more than tragic."
Wow! That's a fairly nihilistic assertion. Our trajectory through time is influenced by myriad forces, known and unknown. Fate is not a balled fist, its a ball of silly putty! A strong spirit largely shapes itself as it is buffeted on all sides by the winds of change and the terror of freedom. The individual must construct his or her own path even as they walk it. Demons of doubt and sirens of pity entice from every direction, ripping at our hope, trying to trip up our feet. They blind us with fogs of depression and they assault the ear with screeches of vast empty solitude of silence.
But the heart is not fooled, not diverted.
