Their 4th album released in 1968 is a concept album, rather than an album with a collection of songs. The album inspirtation came from the Beatles, Sgt Peppers. All the songs in the album are tied together into an entire cohesiveness with excellent songwriting and song styling.
It had the hit song, "Its Wonderful." Other songs equally as good are "Easy Rollin," "Rainy Day," and "My Hawaii", "Singing the Blues Too Long" a classic blues number, a little soul in "My World", and an eastern pychedelic number in "Sattva." The album ends with "Once Upon a Dream" which the album is named after. Despite the diverse musicality the entire album comes across together as one.
This is by far the bands best work, and represents a major depature from their other R&B type songs they had produced in other albums. It was far ahead of its time, and is an incredible album that deserves a listen. It is my favorite Rascal album by a long shot.
