How dare she steal Trent's thunder???? Just as I'm getting all ramped up to go on a Year Zero binge when the new NIN comes out next week...I see that Tori Amos is releasing a new album just two weeks later!What am I going to do??? I can't possibly absorb new material from my two all-time favorite artists in the same month! Jesus, I could barely do that in a year...Didn't Tori do this with Scarlet's Walk or The Beekeeper, too? I think she's purposely trying to fuck with Trent...overshadowing his big moment with her multiple female personas...Speaking of which, I am SO loving the new album concept "American Doll Posse". KarbonKidZero says I feel your pain, and joy. And to top it off, Bjork's album comes out a week after Tori's! There really is far too much happy energy to deal with... I too love the concept of American Doll Posse...and from what I've heard...wow! =)

I was listening to some of the new Tori tracks last night...she and Trent are definitely on the same wavelength...here are the lyrics to the opening track: "I salute to you, Commander, and I sneeze... Cuz I have now an allergy to your policies it seems. Where have we gone wrong, America? Mister Lincoln we can't seem to find you anywhere. Out of the millions from the deserts to the mountains Over prairies to the shores Is this just the Madness of King George? Yo, George. Is this just the Madness of King George? Well you have the whole nation under foot" Not only that, but in another track, she sings of us being "zeroes and ones"....hmmm..a little bit of the Year Zero???

kat3260 says Hahaha...she and Trent need to have a baby together! I rest my case. They are fond of referencing each other in their songs. "StarFuckers, Inc" from Tori's "Professional Widow" - her talking about "nine inch nails and little facist panties" in "Precious Things"....
