Here's a great song from Bruce Robison -- Hanging on Hopeless -- from his new record The New World/

Had the chance to see Bruce and his wife Kelly Willis at a special event that kicked off the Smithsonian Folklife Festival this summer with a fellow mogger -- mikesnider -- and they were terrific.

Bruce may be best known for penning "Traveling Solider" for the Dixie Chicks, plus hits for George Strait and near hits for wife Kelly, but he's great on his own too.

Also can't resist posting this photo from the event. I should have stood by Kelly, but I'm not so smart -- we also needed many official badges to get into this thing.
