Back in the day, Rodney Crowell's classic album "Diamonds & Dirt" along with Dwight Yoakam and Steve Earle got me seriously listening to country music for the first time. I've seen Rodney several times, and he always puts on a lively show. Here's the title track from his new one.

He is so frickin' talented - and this comes from a guy who cannot abide 99 percent of what Nashville calls country music.
He's one of the most talented writers in Nashville and I've been looking forward to this release. Definitely on the top of my listening list.
talk to me ,funoka, because I, too, got the country fever with those 3 guys along with Marty Stuart. Rodney is a guy who respects the hell out of Country but just does what he feels.
