With one of the guys from Ivy producing, a bunch of guest stars including Richard Butler of the Psychedlic Furs, Juliana seems to have worked really hard on this new album. I like the results, so far. Here is another song -- Shining On.

I've always wondered what she looked like...
That's a great track. I've always liked her solo work, as well as her time with Evan Dano and the Lemonheads. I'll have to check this CD out.
I have a strange musical relationship with JH. My daughter (erstwhile Mogger, briefly) is a big fan and thus I attended a NYC concert with her to provide company keep her safe. Horrible ballroom, no seating, spent hours sitting on a hard wooden floor while JH and her preceding acts played songs too loud that I'd never heard before.
But Ivy and I shared iTunes for a while and she loaded up a couple of JH CDs. I left them on there and maybe three have come up so far. One is fantastic, the other two are throwaways. I really like this, and am a fan of Evan Dando but unsure of her contribs there.
And, BTW, summer is almost over and I think you've gotten a bit too much sun. Chill out on the Hawaiian Tropic.
