Have you all heard about this? Have any of you been rickrolled?
Rickrolling is a prank and Internet meme involving the music video for the 1987 Rick Astley song "Never Gonna Give You Up". The meme is a bait and switch: a person provides a Web link they claim is relevant to the topic at hand, but the link actually takes the user to the Astley video. The URL can be masked or obfuscated in some manner so that the user cannot determine the true source of the link without clicking (and thus satisfying their curiosity). When a person clicks on the link given and is led to the web page he/she is said to have been "Rickrolled". By extension, it can also mean playing the song loudly in public in order to be disruptive.
By May 2007, the practice had spread beyond 4chan and become an Internet phenomenon, eventually amassing some coverage in the mainstream media. An April 2008 poll by SurveyUSA estimated that at least 18 million American adults have been rickrolled. SO you may have been rickrolled before...
Even Michelle Obama has gotten Rickrolled: On June 7, 2008, a number of political blogs, including Wonkette, Andrew Sullivan, and Balloon Juice, posted an article claiming to show Michelle Obama going on a rant full of racist references to 'Whitey', but the video was actually a Rick Roll.
There is even an entire site dedicated to getting rickrolled.

Also, as I mentioned previously, Battleground Earth is premiering August 3, 2008 and while the site isn't complete and much more info will be added leading up to and most definitely after show premieres, this is my baby, and I have built this part of the site up from scratch. You can view it view it here. In the next couple of days, image galleries that were taken while the show was being filmed will be posted on this site (that I linked to above in this paragraph). Also, there will be some contests that are going to be put up and detailed very soon and when they are, I will make a post about them. so i be workin at planet green and ludacris is doin a show for planet green which airs in august called battleground earth. i was talkin to my boss to see when ludacris-luda-chris-face would be back out to the east coast... seein if i could get in there and say hey to the dirty south rapper (who happens to be one of my favorites) and she was like dude, he dont like bein called luda. i was astounded! i mean he gave himself the cool nickname... so whassup? yknow? i have to call him chris.
hes got this whole bruce wayne/batman thing goin... stage name styley and normal life ways... WEIRD.
whatever. he is still awesome and like my boss when he is met women swoon. hes a pimp... thas all there is to it.

nice...i think its cool he wants to be called by his real name. After a while i think it would get kinda silly calling some guy "Mr. Sly Boogie" or something.
