My fabulous boyfriend introduced me to this artist named Holly Hansen who sounds something like a happy blend between Cat Power and Azure Ray. I know, dropped jaws all around.She's not only a stellar and unique musician, but is also not lyrically challenged. There is depth and insight to her message.     brittanybf says i was agreeing that i can hear the cat power-type sound immediately, but the more i listen certain parts of her songs sound like old modest mouse to me. "wounds" sounds like it them.
