to Reform or Not To Reform...

Okay, I have to make a decision soon.
I just received an email from an old band mate saying he just set up a venue show on May 17th, and wants to know if I want to join him.
THREE years ago, I played bass in an 'dynamic acoustic rock' trio named Nate Nelson and Co.(company), performing from our one and only album, "_Passing Afternoon_." It was a record we pieced together miraculously, IMO, and then disbanded because of college graduation and people moving. Now we live 1.5 hours away.
I sold my bass amp, but the songs are still clear in my head. (In my case, I rarely forget any part I've created. I mean, I can still recall piano pieces I've composed 15 years ago.)
I'm not sure what to do. Should I go for it?

    TheCaptain says Hey man. I'm kind of a noob at this whole MOG thing, so I don't know what the best way of repsonding to your comment was...so I did this. Anywho, that's me and a buddy of mine doing the soling at the end there. Just for refernece, I'm doing the first solo when the duals start. ie, as soon as the heavy riffs happens, the frist solo you hear is me. He wrote the Steely Dan-esque jazz progression and the heavier riff at the end. We have several other recordings I will most likely post. Thanks for commenting!

    five-four says Thanks all of you for your kind remarks. I have decided to perform in May and we're currently exchanging songs we've recorded lately via gmail. It's an internet preparation (maybe we'll practice together beforehand) and I think things will turn out great. I'm thinking of approaching the songs totally different. A little more artsy, eccentric, freakish. Cool. And thanks again guys.
