It's definitely winter and I'm beginning to think it's bothering me. Haven't had any of the weather that's been hitting a lot of places but there are promises that this will happen tomorrow. I went into my collection and sorted the tracks by "winter". I'm quite surprised how many cool songs there are that are inspired by or about winter. Any way since it is the season I figured I'd post some. Listening to these tunes has brightened my day. Hope you like them and are staying warm.

When i first heard Aztec Camera back in the late 80s, i really liked them. They had a clean, crisp melodic sound that was quite refreshing for the time. There were even moments when i thought they represented a new new wave about to hit our musical shores.
It has been about 15 years since i last heard Aztec Camera. So, when i rediscovered them just a few moments ago, i was joyfully anticipating an emotional reconnection with the band . i played both of the posted cuts, and am now sad. Sad because it appears that that once strong emotional chord between their music and my heart has been severed. Sad because this is the first time ever that i have had this experience upon hearing a band that i really like at a different stage in my life. The band hasn't changed, but obviously something inside of me has.

Oh that's rather sad DZRTsurfer08. Maybe you could go back and hear some songs that were your favorite? I like them but they're not one of my top faves. I like this song for it's wintery quality. It has a very dated 80's sound but I think it's not without its charm though. Thanks for commenting.
