I've been listening to this for a couple of months now. I'm pretty backed up on albums I want to review. This album is a compilation of electronic artists from Mexico. It was released in 2004 on the "Soundsister label":http://www.soundsister.com/. There isn't much online in English about this compilation so I don't know much about it. What I do know is what it sounds like. It's a fairly ecelectic album but much of the tracks have a similar feel in regards to sound. It's branded as pop electronic and I think that would be fair to say. The sounds range from 8-bit electronica, glitch, to homemade casio techno. It's a pretty laid back album. Much of it reminds me of Lineland or Plone. You're not going to throw down and have a crazy party to this music. I don't even think it inspires mind blowing thought, but it is a very pretty album and the songs aren't threatening. Some of them are downright cute and sometimes I need to hear that. Check it out. I've picked a selection of some of the tracks that I liked. There are a couple on the album I could do without but it's not all bad.

HAT!! Where is your HAT? MOG looks wrong now Fistula dude. The tunes are good, but the lack of hat detracts from the quality of this post.

I'm going to have to rent Hero on DVD. I missed out on it. I'm obsessed with BG as well as Lost. There's some good TV out there right now.
