Jay Bharadia's first record is a mind openening exursion into the realms of European thrift records, hip hop and dub beats, creative electronica, and just all around weirdness. Jay's dad is Indian and his mother is French. The album has a couple of vocal tracks like the amazing track "Snowy Day" but for the most part each track comes in just barely over a minute and are glitch instrumentals. They remind me of European art film interstitial music. His style at times is very reminiscent to label mate Backini's style. His however has a more corroded and used record feel to it. I don't know that much else about him except what he says on his label bio. It's a funny read. Check it out. It's a dreamy and moody album that I found very refreshing. Very nice for a first album.

nice find sam, dreamy, i'm hooked. he's like a distant cousin of 4tet. i like the bio lol can't believe he's only 23. the label seems to have a good sense of humour as well as an interesting list of artists.

@Mike the Knife: You took the words right out of my mouth. Could I interest you in some Champanyah?
@LadyC: It is hard to believe he's 23. It's sounds so polished and professional. It does remind me of 4tet. Do you know what they're singing on this song?
