Ok. I am so elated that there is a new Cornelius album out. I just found out about it yesterday. I went to YouTube to see if there were vids out there. Most of the album has a video. Check it out. These videos are off the visual charts. Way cool stuff. Can't wait to get off my music purchase wagon to get these. I first heard Cornelius after buying an album at a garage sale. I think that qualifies it as officially the coolest garage sale ever.

I can't remember how I got Fantasma. I know I found Point at my local library. They always have the weirdest stuff there. Garage sale has to be the best. And the video said it would be available in stores!

thanks i havent been following cornelius in the past months so i didnt know that there was a new album... this combined with finding out about the new douglas hofstadter book makes this a great week... and its only tuesday.

No problem Rawkkiddo and etcvisitor. I was shocked when I found all these videos. I almost thought I would get lucky and track down the whole album in video form. It's enough to make me order it for $20. This sounds like a more complex and refined Drop. I liked that album but it was no Fantasma. He's definitely refined his skills on the electro-acoustical tip. That Sensuous track sounds like an Akufen tune.

I found Fantasma at a local record store that sells used CDs. To date, I have found at least 65 albums of electronica music - mostly German. They are approx. 10 years old but I paid most of them a buck each. I have around 100 electronica albums + quite a few tracks on my HD.
