3 girls, synthesizers, and a drum machine. This album is quiet and somber but still a little upbeat. It's fun. It reminds me of Broadcast or Psapp but a little less technically complicated and more twee. Maybe like Dear Nora but with synths (not exactly but you get the idea). It's pretty straight forward electronic indy pop. I don't think there are any missteps in the album as a whole. It's upbeat at the first half and then mellows out for the second half. I read somewhere that they might have got the name from Pee Wee's Big Adventure. That would be awesome if so. Check it out.
