Well it's a new year isn't it. My posting hasn't been as prolific this year as the previous year. A lot going on in the life of Fistula Spume. Early in December I had some computer mishaps and am now computerless at home. I hope to have that rectified soon. I'm sorry for my Secret Santa guy. I will make it worth his while as soon as I'm back online. Also, I want to say thank you to my Secret Santa caliscrnwrtr. I got a very thoughtful package with 3 nice cd's. All right up my alley. In addition to being behind on my posts I've also been very lax on keeping up with my trusteds since last June. I hope I can correct that this year. My plan is to really Mog it up this year. I'm going to try to give it a good push today and if all goes well I'll post this weekend from the new computer. I've also got new art projects that I'm working on and hopefully will have a small show this year. The podcast is going great too and thanks to all who have subscribed. I want to be more active and regular on Mog than I have been in the last 6 months. I had no idea 2008 would turn out the way it did though. I'm having high hopes for '09. I trust all of you Moggers had happy holidays and here's to more awesome music for the coming year!
P.S. on a side note you never know how much you depend on a computer until it's gone. I've been going through stacks and stacks of old mix cd's to tide my music habits over. I rediscovered some gems. I'm getting tired of the music that's been stuck on my ipod for the last month. I really need a new music fix. I got an iPod touch for X-mas which I'm sure will be really cool to use once I get a new computer. Very mixed blessings this holiday season but I've got my health. I really can't wait to tell what the weather will be like, find directions, check restuarant menus, or find out what's really going on in the world on a regular basis.

we need more fisty!! thanks to you, I bought my first Pizzicato Five cd last week: Playboy & Playgirl it is, and the spinning is fine - but I don't think this on cd will hold me for long! I thought that was a Kermit the Frog sample in Clyob, but maybe not... oh well, same spirit...look forward to another fine year Sam!!
It is a very Kermity voice on the song. I like it. It's a quirky track. Congrats on the P5 album. They will suck you in. I like that album quite a bit. I wholehartedly reccomend anything else by them. You can get their Matador releases for cheap on Amazon. Looking forward to this year as well Scott!
I couldn't have put it any better than scotfree did. I've been off my MOG game lately, too, but knowing that you are determined to come back strong has inspired me to try and do the same. We can't let these MMN people take over....
ooh i hope you post some of your art on here when it's done! and good luck with the computer stuff...i had a little bit of that - it's always a pain.

2008 was so 'dry' for finding new music due to everything that was going on. I want to spend some serious cash on music this year.

Finally got back to this one. May 2009 be the fistiest! (And I mean that in the best possible way.) But 2.0? I say, if it ain't broke, don't upgrade it!
