I just wanted to post some tracks from this album. It came out in 1997. I missed this group completely. I think I got this album around '03. They were the first artist on Massive Attack's Melankolic label and they sound quite a bit like a Portis-Attack clone. I like it though despite that. They have an album from 2003 called Stargazing that's supposed to be amazing. I'll probably get that one someday. This album is very dreamy and a little less on the paranoid side than their contemporaries. The girl's voice is nice but I think I prefer the dude's more. They reuse a lot of samples in the album but it's not annoying. I think if you enjoy downtempo music and you were like me and missed it then you will probably like this. It doesn't have a woah factor but sometimes I don't need that.

Brilliant -- Alpha have come to eminence after their track "Elvis" was used for a US TV program. They're worth more than a listen.
I really like "My Things" which a has a dream-breathing quality to it.

Bartleby I quite like what I've heard. This album takes more than a casual listen for sure. I really like how "My Things" develops just past the middle.
MTK they're nice warm colors.
