Reunited and it feels so good. I got this compilation when it came out in 1998 on K Records. It's not really the greatest compilation but it's not bad either. Somehow the album parted from me and I haven't heard it since 1998. What stood out for me was this was the first time I had ever heard Make Up. From what I can tell this song was only on this album and not on any other. It prompted me to buy two records, one cd, one 12", and one 45. I was thoroughly happy with Make Up. Such an awesome band. The other track that I really loved on this comp was by The Bartlebees. I know nothing about this band or what they're saying but I really love the song. There's about 4 songs with Calvin Johnson on them. One is with Beck and it's called "Close to God". Not really that great. There's a couple of indy hip-hop tracks that are ok. Overall not the best comp but it has its moments. I just feel better for getting it again even if it's really only for two songs.

Oh thank you so much micki. I really need to invest in some Die Sterne. I have two tracks and one of them I've put on a ton o' mixes. From what I've heard I really love. They sound really great.

Haha, you gotta do that, really! Their singer and guitarist has started a solo project, and it's rumoured he did because the last Sterne album didn't do too well in the media. Even though it was great. Man I love them... saw them live about 15 times over the last 15 yrs...
Now, which songs do you have already? I can say that I have LOTS of their stuff...

The third, ??Posen?? has to be my favourite... but that's kinda personal, because of memories of the time. ??Die Interessanten?? is great, too, and the newer ones are also good. There's really no real miss between them! I like the second one least b/c it's kinda moody.. but that doesn't make it a bad album either. The song in the video is actually from that 2nd album, ??In Echt??, from around '94. It's called "Sober", and he sez that he's sober, because he's got sober _genes_....
