Reunited and it feels so good. I got this compilation when it came out in 1998 on K Records. It's not really the greatest compilation but it's not bad either. Somehow the album parted from me and I haven't heard it since 1998. What stood out for me was this was the first time I had ever heard Make Up. From what I can tell this song was only on this album and not on any other. It prompted me to buy two records, one cd, one 12", and one 45. I was thoroughly happy with Make Up. Such an awesome band. The other track that I really loved on this comp was by The Bartlebees. I know nothing about this band or what they're saying but I really love the song. There's about 4 songs with Calvin Johnson on them. One is with Beck and it's called "Close to God". Not really that great. There's a couple of indy hip-hop tracks that are ok. Overall not the best comp but it has its moments. I just feel better for getting it again even if it's really only for two songs.
