More classic electronic music. This one is more organic as DJ Food producer Strictly Kev orchestrates samples using electronic methods rather than relying entirely on synths. It's just spectacular. Came out in 2000 on Ninja Tune. If you missed it pick it up. So incredibly nice. It's a bit upbeat and kitschy for the first half and then turns into an incredible dream for the second half. Classic stuff.

Fisty, I am digging all of these, especially the one with Ken Nordine (one of my faves). I'm wondering whether you're acquainted with this DJ Food track.

The Ken Nordine one is a gem. Really love it. I do have that track. It's on the Jazz Brakes Vol. 5 collection. DJ Food is really something else. His "Raiding the 20th Century":http://www.ubu.com/sound/dj_food.html mix is really great too if you haven't heard it.

Very nice. Complete agreement on the Ken Nordine track. Fab.
Have a few bits and pieces of DJ Food stuff. The Raiding The 20th Century mix is amazing. Thanks for the UbuWeb link - now I can finally see the whole track list.

It's pretty impressive to say the least. I want to get some of their other mixes. I have a Breezeblock set that's pretty cool. This is off topic but I just read a DJ Food review that I cannot figure out on "Allmusic":http://wm11.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&token=&sql=10:j9fwxq80ldhe. I can't tell where this guy/kid is coming from or what he's trying to say.
