The Baldwin Brothers are a cornucopia of music and good feelings. As I've read on several sites they call their music "junktronic". Each song is jam packed with sounds and samples from a variety of genre. The album ranges from fast paced electronic music to slow and contemplative jazzy numbers and all points in between. Guests on the album include Lisa Kekaula of Basement Jaxx, the Train from Lo Fidelity Allstars, Sarai, and Mark Lanegan. I kind of zoned out on the first few listens of this but recently I put it back in the mix and I really like it. It's a fun clean and playful album. Its albums like this that are really gearing me up for Spring. Winter isn't any fun anymore. Immerse yourself in The Baldwin Brothers if you can. It won't make you dirty.
