All City Records concluded their 7x7 Beat Series last November. It was 7" records released over a period of 7 months by 7 up and coming beat producers. You can get all of these on just about every download store online now. I got mine off of Emusic. It's a pretty great compilation. The album covers are sweet. I wish I had the original records. Artists on the series include Snowman, Mike Slott, Fulgeance, Mweslee, Le n?ko, Hudson Mohawke, and Onra. I thought the Onra tracks would be my favorite (and they're pretty cool) but I was really surprised by the artists I hadn't heard before like Snowman, Mike Slott, and Fulgeance. I thought would post a few tracks for your brain to process. I recommend picking these up as a whole. I'm also looking forward to finding some albums by these artists. Stay tuned!

oh this is stellar stuff, i'm going to see what i can see about ordering the 7", the snowman track is a real standout.
and after going to the website, the snowman 7" is sold out, i will settle for mp3 then...dammit. but consider me schooled fistula, and its only 10am!
I know. I wish I could've gotten them all. I always hear about these things after the fact. I'm looking forward to a Snowman album. I don't see anything else from him that's been released.
