I can't believe I missed this. It was aired live last night only on VH1 Classic, which I don't get. Excuse the crappy sounding clip, better ones should pop up eventually.The band performed "Burning Up" and "Ray of Light," and Iggy gave a fabulously deadpan quote of "Like A Virgin" at the end. Madonna was upset that while The Stooges have been nominated numerous times, they've never been inducted. So in protest she asked them to perform in her place. I'm glad Madonna sees the irony of being inducted before them, let alone one of her own major influences, Chic. Pretty cool, Madonna! The only thing that would have topped it would be if she licked peanut butter off Iggy's leather pants.Read more here.

Although, I'd've preferred not Ray of Light. I can't stand that song, and having Iggy & the boys work it over helped, but I'd've liked something else.
