Positioned to blow traditional park visitors away, Hard Rock Park includes more than 40 attractions, a multi-purpose live music amphitheater, shows and state-of-the-art sound systems - uniquely developed for the project, roller coasters, children’s play areas, restaurants, cafes and retail stores."It opens June 2nd. I hardly trust Hard Rock Cafe to "celebrate the spirit of rock 'n' roll" with proper "irreverence." Unless it was no kids allowed, then they could have, like a House of Horrors where you enter through Mick Jagger's crotch and encounter animatronic representations of every common STD passed between musicians and groupies.What ride would you like to see? How about a water rollercoaster where you ride on a squishy replica of Gene Simmons' tongue? Put the little ones in a jumpy area inside an inflated Elvis. Have a towering jar of white powder, and let people guess how many cubic feet of cocaine was inhaled in the last 30 years by rock stars.That would be kinda fun.

This fast and furious round-ride puts guests in a speeding London cab as if they were a band of rock stars zooming past their screaming fans. All the Kings Horses. This British take on the classic carousel ride, draws its fanciful designs from the same Arthurian mythology and lore that the British heavy metal bands of the 80's found so appealing. Each of the horses in the carousel is adorned with medieval battle armor, waiting for a young knight or princess to climb aboard and ride off into legend. Magic Mushroom Garden.     fastnbulbous says It's just funny how it's being made so safe and kid friendly. At least they had a sense of humor about a psychedelic 'shroom romper room. And what's up with Nights In White Satin - The Trip? Sounds like the groping/orgy portion of the day.

    Anna says I'd like to see a British post-punk revival ride (surprise! Not!) :) And I would also like to see those $400 million to be used for something that would make people's lives better (you know what I mean).
