What makes this a post for MOG is that Rambam is a recurring character in the mystery novels that feature Kinky Friedman as the first-person detective. (And published under Kinky's name, though someone i know in New York tells me that they are actually the work of one of the other recurring characters.)
(At one time, Kinky and Willie Nelson were trying to put together a deal to film one of the early books, with Kinky as himself and Willie as the manager of Greenwich Village's late lamented Lons Star Roadhouse... And Richard Moll was lined up to play Rambam.)

Rambam speaking.

Yes...the genie is out of the bottle. Pandora's box has been opened. It makes you wonder what will life be like ten years from now.
It's interesting to note that in some cases...it is actually harder to find someone the old fashioned way. Letters aren't being delievered as much and cell phones are beginning to outnumber regular land line telephones. In many cases...the current generation only has a cellular phone. With so many providers...these phone numbers are not listed in your local telephone book.
There is a national database of cell numbers - which reminds me - it's a good idea to put your cell phone on the national "Do Not Call" register, because now that the database has been published they can start calling you - and you pay.
Richard Moll! i've often wondered what he's doing now! (he actually looks better here than his Night Court days...)
He played a monster in something, i recall.
