"*Code Name: Hunter*":http://www.rcsitravel.net/archive/2005/06/20 is a webcomic set in an alternate universe populated by "*anthropomorphic*":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropomorphic animals; one in which magic (which had been banned from the world by William the Conqueror's priests) returned in full strength during World War 2. It's organised as if it were an actual comicbook - complete with "issue numbers" and "covers". (Actually, i think there are dead-tree versions of at least the first couple issues.)After using a couple of issues worth of space to establish the premise and being it up to the modern era, they did one off-the-wall issue featuring short individual stories about Ruby (a fox) and Mac (a mouse), the current main characters.
