A Parable of the Housing Bubble:
Over a year ago, someone bought up three or four single-family homes near our apartment.They got a zoning change through to allow them to build townhomes on the land.They got a demolition permit.
A year ago, they knocked down the houses.
And now the place where several nice houses used to stand is ugly and empty
(except for some very nice flowers that survived the holocaust)
with a "For Sale" sign and apparently no buyers...I got to thinking about this sort of thing when i saw this "*
