Go to any website that uses HTML to position its graphics (the original post recommends amazon.com.)(As it says, won't work on a site using CSS, like MOG)Follow the instructions.
1. Go to amazon.com
2. Remove everything from the address bar, then copy & paste the following into it:javascript:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.images; DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5; DIS.top=Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5}R++}setInterval('A()',5); void(0);
3. Hit ENTER

  1. Vtshome says Far out, I haven't seen anything like that since the early 70's. I didn't even have to pop anything like I did back then.

  5. fairportfan says I didn't double-post; i clicked "Publish"... I'll knock out the other, though. I was googling for something else (articles about comics, actually), and i hit a blog that had it up.

  6. annnna says I did it with google and had about five minutes of fun trying to catch the colorful letters with my mouse. Haha it's especially fun with Flickr.

  8. moovyphreak says That was indeed neato, but I could only get it to work in Internet Explorer (boo!) I have a bunch of extensions in Firefox and am also currently using a beta of version 3, so perhaps that has something to do with it.

  9. fairportfan says Yup. Interesssting. I had tried it in Opera (which is my browser of choice) and didn't think to check Firefox. I only have one extension (Download Helper) on my Firefox.

  10. schrodinger'sCAT says Still love it... neat for when I get bored! Somehow, it doesn't work with google.com.sg, google.com.in, google.com.au... etc but only with google.com. I would have assumed they used the same way of positioning graphics... ah well. Mind if I post this up on my blog?

  11. fairportfan says Nope, since i got it from somewhere else. Didn't i credit/link the original? Oops. No, i didn't. Huh. A Google shows about a zillion sites, all of which quote what i did, none of which credit a source. Go for it.
