Those are a lot of fun. It's good that the PHJB has some new blood in it. It's also fun to see music videos that don't have endless fast cutting, and that show you a neighborhood smoothly.

Well, Ray's writing - "Complicated Life" in particular - has always had a jazz element, just as it sometime includes blus, skiffle, country and Big Band influences. (The "Come Dancing" riff is dead-nuts perfect Big Band shtick...)
