Our computer appears to be on the point of faiure - i think we need either a new CPU or a new motherboard, which, with everything else around here, we can't afford...
So MOG may not be hearing from me for a few days or a few weeks. (While it pains me to admit it, fixing the van, which allows me to do things that are merely useful and necessary, comes ahead of fixing the computer, which allows me to do enjoyable things and have some semblance of a life, and our funds are limited...)

If we don't fix the van, Kate can't go to work and i can't afford to go online, so there's no mogging anyway. (She's spending twelve to sixteen dollars a day on cabs as it is).
The computer is working now; when it heats up som, it'll crash again..

Nah, i think we got a thermal intermittent processor.
Luckily, i have an older machine that we got free when Kate's office discarded it - needs RAM and drives, and it needs PC133, not DDR2 like this machine, but stepdaughter Heklen has some old PC133 on hand she's mailing us, and i'll do a drive transplant...
