  1. SWozniak says Sufjan Steven's "Greetings from Michigan" album. It's become my homesick album. And then there's the mention of "Saginaw" in Simon and Garfunkel's "America" that gets me for a moment every time (my granny still lives there, but I hardly get to see her).

  2. extraordinarypoems says I'll check that out "Greetings from Michigan." I've never been there. By the way, when I read your post today about courtesy and the like, I kept wondering where I fit into your MOG world. I hope my posts do what they should do, for the most part. I just listened to Emmylou Harris singing, "As much as you burn me baby, I should be ashes by now," from her album "Evangeline." Nice way to end my impromptu work stint on a Saturday. I'm heading home --- or maybe to a friend's house. Don't know yet. Anyway, have a nice weekend. I might pop into work tomorrow and check in. My internet at home won't be up and running until November 17, according to BellSouth, who has to put in new DSL lines in my small town. So I'm a daymogger.

  3. SWozniak says No, no. I think I'm being misunderstood. And it's not up to me what MOG is like. The only Emmylou album I have is "Red Dirt Girl." I got it for the fantastic duet with Dave Matthews, and then upon listening to it more realized she also covered Patty Griffin. Good luck with the internet. That's a long time ot have to wait.

  4. 82times says "Decorah Waltz" by the Foot-Notes. =) mp3 sample Foot-Notes Greg Brown is good for me, too, since he's from Iowa and I saw him play in my hometown. gregbrown.com

  5. Bob3743 says I just heard "She Ain't That Kind of Girl" on my random play. I love the sentimental sounds of Alabama.....and yea....Roll Tide!
