i saw Stars yesterday for their first ever show in SEAsia, and they are AWESOME.the sound could have been slightly better, but other than that they really put on a show - this is the first and probably the last time i'll see the Esplanade stage decked up like a rose garden, and the band members constantly tossed stalks of roses and petals into the audience (i really want to know.. do they do that

I just got Copeland's new album You Are My Sunshine - only on my second listen-through but I've got high hopes for it. So far, loving the lush instrumentation and of course, Aaron Marsh's beautiful voice. The songs are in the same vein as Eat Sleep Repeat, but I think YAMS might actually top it.

but I really don't like Radiohead.Which is a waste because I really want to like them, but I've tried and tried and I still can't get into them. i love Fake Plastic Trees and Black Star like the next person, but I just cannot stand Thom Yorke's voice- it's just too nasal for me.Its almost ridiculous because I've just heard In Rainbows. long overdue first post! anyhow, i'm really excited by the artists coming for the mosaic music festival! i REALLY want to go for rachael yamagata and yo la tengo. and maybe jose gonzalez. then besides them there's tristan prettyman and rickie lee jones and album leaf.. amazing. that they're all coming to singapore. this looks to be a good concert year esp with muse and eric clapton this mth too :)
