for this year's Mosaic Music Fest i went for Sondre Lerche and the Faces Down..and it was FANTASTIC. far far cry frm Yo La Tengo last yr. he managed to get our usually stuffy audience up on our feet and dancing away to Phantom Punch.. and singing along to Sleep on Needles (which was totally awesome even though i was surrounded by older folks who clearly didnt know the lyrics to his songs..) and he played almost ALL my favourite songs, so i'm happy. LOVED the extended jam session of Dead Passengers. the Faces Down are excellent. and totally fangirly of me, but we queued for his autograph. no time for pics, but i managed to exchange a couple of words with him. :))so now, i want to watch Dan In Real Life. haha. and i cannot wait for baybeats and next's yr's lineup!
