Sherwood -- Can't Get Enough

I cannot get enough of this band.I discovered them on MySpace--where else?--and I have not stopped listening to them since.I have yet to figure out what it is about this genre (which I cannot give a name to) that really tunes me in, but it never fails. They fall in the same category as Augustana and The Frey in my book. And I cite these two bands, which they do not necessarily sound all that much like, because I fell in love with Sherwood the same way I fell in love with The Frey and Augustana before they made it on-air. For the record, on-air to me means the radio (however obvious that may be to you) because I work in radio. On-air is easier and certainly sounds a lot less insulting to those whiney-indie folk out there.Anywho, Sherwood is on. Their lyrics, their sound, their style is just on.And I find myself loving this ever-popular Geek-chic style more and more by the day. Think Ok Go.K, go listen: (myspace.com/sherwood). Oh, PS I really am not that huge of a fan of "Only Song," which should be playing below, but I was hooked by "Song in My Head" and "Best in Me."
