Snow Patrol reveal new (5th) album tracklisting

Judging from the postings of my favorite music blogs and sites, a press release went out already announcing Snow Patrol's next album "A Hundred Million Suns". However, keen fans should know the first place to look is not the site, but rather the most recent postings by Mr. Gary Lightbody on the SP.com forum, should he remember to do so (hell, he's got a Mog account and that's been dead for awhile).
Anyway, lo and behold the tracklisting of the new album is:
- If there's a rocket tie me to it
- Crack the shutters open
- Take back the city
- Lifeboats
- The golden floor
- Please just take these photos from my hands
- Set down your glass
- The planets bend between us
- Engines
- Disaster button
- The Lightning Strike
- What if this storm ends?
- Sunlight through the flags
- Daybreak
The last song is sixteen minutes long and by far the longest we've ever done. Don't be frightened though, it's great. Although for now you'll have to take my word for that and I'm pretty biased I have to say.
There's more from the Gary. He mentions the first airplay of their new single, and it's on Zane Lowe's show this Monday. Just click this link, or ponder on the meanings of these titles and what the songs may sound like...
For reading this far, here's a video I took of my most favorite song of theirs I've heard live (once and only once, acoustic):
