MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

so, october 3rd marked the release date of Lawrence, Kansas band Ad Astra Per Aspera's first full length album. im still anxiously awaiting my copy in the mail (ahem, mike). they are playing a show here in bucket city (murfreesboro, TN) on monday November 13th and i am more than excited... in fact excited isnt the appropriate word because it is a little too drab and unenthusiastic to describe how i feel about this. i was recently quoted at saying "ad astra per aspera is currently my favorite band in north america... wait, strike that, ad astra per aspera is currently my favorite band in the world". so, with that said, i am not going to be happy until everyone has heard this amazing band. so, here is a link to their website (i believe the album is streaming there, but i dont have the technology to prove it) a picture and some tour dates (note the CMJ date november 2nd at the knitting factory) and check out who is playing with them on the november 13th gig. on this tour they will be playing with notable bands such as: plot to blow up the eiffle tower, an albatross and nashvilles very own Be Yor Own Pet. ok, now go and make me happy.
