yes i know its been months: 2 quick questions and an update

why is it that all of my co-workers have decided that disco is good?

is this a widespread phenomenon?

i recently bought a BB gun.

late at night i go into my backyard and plug in a spot light and my record player and shoot cans that i set up on an old discarded entertainment center while listening to music. i also drink while i do this. i usually do this by myself.

yes it is the daisy: red ryder 1938 "you're gonna shoot your eye out" model.

aside from that i think im moving to kansas city MO in 2008. more on that later.

    etcvisitor says if i had a real gun i wouldnt be able to shoot it in my backyard and then i wouldnt be able to drink while i shot and then i wouldnt have any fun. its less of a gun thing and more of a mystic zen kind of thing. dont get me wrong though, real guns are a lot of fun. just not for backyards in densely populated college town neighboroods.

    fistula spume says Sweet BB Gun dude. I used to have one of those. The Daisy BB Gun factory I think recently closed down. It's located about 25 minutes from where I'm at. I don't know about disco. I can diggit but it depends on my mood. I'm more into Italo Disco as of late. Hey KC is pretty cool. I don't know how it compares to Murfreesboro but I like it pretty good. You know what's fun is to put match sticks in your BB Gun and shoot it at pavement to watch the firey fun when it hits the ground.

    Cody B says You've been busy. Don't be a stranger. I never hated disco, except for the fact that I was too young to get in the clubs. Never had that problem in the Punk Rock dives though. Maybe folks are latching onto disco as the symbol of an escapist era that they wish they could return to. Either that or the snappy,easy to dance to beat.

    Iren says Almost better than a BB gun is an Airsoft, you can use them indoors as well as out... and they are fairly cheap, like less than 2 boxes of center fire ammo cheap.. as for disco, it never went away, they have just been calling it R & B for the last couple of years.

Iren-my friends have been referring to it as R&B for the most part... they seem to be in denial. a lot of the noise scene kids have been taking it a step further and listening to captain Ahab which is just shitty techno. they back up their argument by saying "so what, these guys put on one hell of a live show." that is when i say "i dont care, it doesnt mean their CD is any good." i was thinking about an airsoft gun, but then a friend of mine got a pretty gnarly welt from one, and knowing my friends we would be covered with those after a few minutes. cody- i see your argument as very valid. that is why im scared about the up comming election and a potential return to reganomics and the mallification of america through a potential "positive" economic overhaul. kristiana- thank you, that made my night. anna- i wont rat you out on the misspelling, but those guys look like ron jeremy on a really bad acid trip. fistula- i think there is a Daisy repair center in some BFE part of Missouri. maybe i will have to look into it and get a job there. right now in the state of mind that im in anything is going to be cooler than murfreesboro. however i might have to move sooner than later after i burn my house down while trying that match trick. john- maybe i should buy a mirror back to shoot at. rawk- i just pray that i havent inspired anything too pro disco. lyrikhan- this will give me a good way to dispose of all of the disco CDs that my coworkers leave at the shop. if i steal them A) i dont have to listen to disco at work and B) i dont have to buy disco records to destroy.
