so let me ease back into it, and then out again. hopefully this will be an actual return to mog for me instead of the usual drop by... nothing serious right now, just enjoy the video.
yes, its been awhile.
it seems like i always start my posts like that.
since we last spoke, i went on tour, almost shot my eye out with a BB gun, drank a lot, and decided to move to kansas city MO (starting january 2nd). dont ask its a long story.
i know what you really want to know. what has acoustic country folky indie musician henry daggs been listening to?
lots and lots of death metal, black metal and rap.
specifically death, mayhem, emperor, old dirty bastard, kool keith and especially the entire 23 chapters of R. Kelly's "Trapped in the closet".

why is it that all of my co-workers have decided that disco is good?
is this a widespread phenomenon?
i recently bought a BB gun.
late at night i go into my backyard and plug in a spot light and my record player and shoot cans that i set up on an old discarded entertainment center while listening to music. i also drink while i do this. i usually do this by myself.
yes it is the daisy: red ryder 1938 "you're gonna shoot your eye out" model.
aside from that i think im moving to kansas city MO in 2008. more on that later.

Real guns are more fun but if you are like me you can't own one.
P.S the disco is fun to dance to in the mirror
if i had a real gun i wouldnt be able to shoot it in my backyard and then i wouldnt be able to drink while i shot and then i wouldnt have any fun.
its less of a gun thing and more of a mystic zen kind of thing.
dont get me wrong though, real guns are a lot of fun. just not for backyards in densely populated college town neighboroods.
i think you should go shoot up some disco records with your bb gun whilst drinking...
