While the latest Beatles remixes are stirring up some strong reactions, go give another listen to Jim Carey's rendition of "I Am The Warlus" on George Martin's "In My Life", a collection of Beatle cover songs whose only memorable track is Carey's, Much to Carey's credit, and George & son's shame, he does admit on the fade out that "There I've done it! I've defiled a timeless work of art!" If only that disclaimer were embossed on the LOVE CD!!Not that there are some cuts on this CD that are good .... Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows is pretty fucking good!
