To CBGB

Posted over 5 years ago
I tried to tag this post as best I could. The list is just too long. On Sunday, we all lose one of our family members. I won't go into history and the like, because everyone on this place knows it very well. On Sunday, CBGBs will close it's doors for good. I'm suprisingly sad about this. I'll leave this short. Let us all know, let CBGB know, we'll miss it. One last good old punk rock toast, FUCK YOU TOO! cheers.

  2. Tony Scalzo says Played at CB's in 1995 at CMJ. After our early set the show changed over to be The Gits (post Mia's murder) with Joan Jett on lead vocals! That place has some real history. But hey, life goes on! I've seen some great places go the way of the dodo. Raji's and the Cathay de Grande in Hollywood (not to mention the Masque and Starwood). Safari Sam's and The Cuckoos Nest in OC. Liberty Lunch here in Austin, I really miss that one! They will have a newer, bigger Cbgb's that will suck, I guarantee it!
