Paul has the sound that we remember from early 1950's when it was the mellowing
of a differant sound and these new ," usually", young people coming together from college's and enjoying the peaceful times.
The hangouts started first in Berkley, Oakland and San Francisco, little jazz joints, all you had to do is walk in, have a few drinks and listen to the best music ever!
I still play all my Brubeck Disc's but sadly, very sadly Paul died young of an unknown
blood disease, but we still can hear his music.

Thanks, everyone was switching their's so I decided to have one that is exactly where I like to be. Being still in school at the time of Brubeck, Modern Jazz Quartet and other's fit right into the Rythem and Blues and Chicago Blues with Joe Williams.
