So I got the new Yo La Tengo album and, although I am a diehard fan of YLT and Ira and Georgia, I have to say I'm confused. Its so schitzo! The first song, "Pass the Hatchet", is consistent with the classic YLT luscious wall of noise that we all know and love, but other songs are just so out of left field. Take "Mr Tough".
