2 stars for The Gift from the AMG reviewer? What was the author smoking? Seriously though, listen to the albums on MoG and decide for yourself. Although this is not the Jam's best effort, it is certainly worthy of 3.5 to 4 stars as there are only a few "throwaway" tracks.

I have always thought the Jam never really got their due. This cd is easily 3 - 4 stars.
