I picked up a GLS song from the 2006 SxSW torrent, and liked this particular song. I tried to see them that same year at a crappy 6th street bar at 5:00 in the afternoon - not the best time for a quiet alt-folk band...But, just getting home from an SF show and heard this song live. Tony Dekker, the singer and songwriter of the band, has this unbelievable and haunting voice.My point is, for the $12 it cost me, I got a lot of value for my entertainment dollar. Go out and see live music - no matter where you live, someone is on a stage, putting their heart and soul into it every night.
