So Connor Oberst has released the details about his new album called "Cassadaga" due out in April. You can read all of that jazz over at NME.The real news is that he is bribing you to sign up for his newsletter by letting you listen to a new song called "Endless Entertainment". Go to ThisIsBrightEyes.com to be assimilated. The song itself is downright poppy. Very upbeat in stark contrast to "I'm Wide Awake Its Morning". The sound is more full and Connor sounds more confident in his skills. I'm not sure if I am really liking it yet or not. It is a departure, but not too far from anything in the past. I don't know, sometimes it seems like I want my moody singer songwriters, well moody.Go grab the song and let me know what you think.

    edame says I agree there were some upbeat songs on digital ash, but I think the overall style of music didn't lend itself as well to feeling upbeat. But I do agree there were some lyrically upbeat songs on there.
