OK, haven't done an 80's post in a while, but I was listening to this old track and thought, I forgot about this one!
Here's a classic from 1979 - "Computer Games", from the Aussie band Mi-Sex. This band pretty much nails the definition of "one hit wonder"; I remember hearing this a few times back in the 80's, but then nothing from these guys. The track is quintessential 80's, as is the video, with the "vector graphics" background behind the band.
I'm sure a gazillion other people have posted this video, but as a lost 80's classic, I had to include it on the list - so check out Mi-Sex's 1979 classic "Computer Games" - an Essential 80's track!!!!!

hey there, ebuzz! it's good to know your essential Essential... is alive and well, and kind of just on a sabbatical. this song/video is waaaaaay '80s. from fashion sense to use of synths, there are similarities to another Aussie '80s band, Pseudo Echo, although the music isn't similar. great to hear from you every so often!
