This, people, is why you find a good record store. Along with the pile of CD's I actually paid for, Record Store Girl also gave me two sampler thingies, one of which was the LA Riots sampler disc Scion (who apparently make horrendous cars and great mix tapes. Go figure.) put out.I have an abiding love for techno-tinged stuff that can force even the most faux-detatched indie kids dance a bit, and LA Riots falls squarely into that category. I've only ever heard a few of the songs on the dsc in their original form, but their versions of the two I have are still brilliant.So harass your finer local record store to get you one of these and make with the dancing.
