The Week of Best Shows!

I have done at lest a months worth of drinking and going out this week, and I would have very nice video of The Thermals, The Dex Romweber Duo, and The Detroit Cobras for you if Youtube would stop being such a bitch and send me my damned confirmation e-mail, but it's ok. Because I saw some of my favorite bands this week (seeing bands I've been trying to see for ages has been a pattern lately) and despite missing Dusty Rhodes and the River Band due to being in a drunken stupor elsewhere.

I will say this, though. The Thermals are fuckign amazing live and I'm kinda proud to have been told by someone that they repeatedly mentioned it as one of their better shows on their Twitter (though i hate me some twitter). The Detroit Cobras, in addition to having an absurdly sexy bass player, also called out the crowd on not dancing, whichc is something I've been wanting to see since I got to Phoenix two years ago. Lastly, Dex Romweber may not be as crazy and great as he was circa Flat Duo Jets, but the man can still rock the fuck out.

If anyone could help me figure out what Youtube's deal is, I'd be ore than happy top post some of the video I took playing around with my new MinoHD. In the meantime, you REALLY should see both of these tours if they pass by you.
