Went and saw Manu Chao the other night, and it was a great show. He's a great artist, and although I couldn't understand lots of the words because I'm a stupid gringo, it was real high energy and tons of fun. I'd recommend it if he ever comes anywhere close to you.
Got this album a couple years ago, and I really like it. I heard about them from a friend in Seattle, yet, I've heard these are some good ol' boys from Charlottesville, VA. Some really good beats, nice and jazzy and good lyrics to go over top. Check it out.
So for some reason, I can listen to any music I want at work, but not reggae. I don't get it. It's not like the moment reggae music comes on, I just can't hold back and have to spark up a doobie.
