WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Return Of...The Magnificent 7

Posted over 2 years ago
Zero 7 - "I Have Seen" Classic Zero 7 (check the drum loops) provides the coolest soundtrack to...well, whatever you're doing at the time. The Zutons - "Valerie" A snazzy little bluesy groove thing--think Elvis Costello plus a swingin' horn section. Camera Obscura - "Lloyd, I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken" Scot-poppers take a Phil Spector-guided tour of Motown, and everyone go-go dances.Joshua Radin - "Closer" Gorgeous tune by honor-roll graduate from the Paul Simon School For Whispering Folk Singers. My Morning Jacket - "Golden" The kind of song you'd expect to hear streaming out of a dusty trucker's old AM radio. Except much better. Ray LaMontagne - "You Can Bring Me Flowers" Smoky-voiced folkie pens another heartbreaker and hires some cool jazz cats to throw down on it.Delinquent Habits - "Return Of The Tres" A couple of vatos locos flow over a "Kiss of Fire" sample. Caution: this will make ya head bob.
